Jones, Rhona MacDonald

(October 31, 1943 – December 11, 2025)
Loving Godmother to Heidi (Neil Lowry), who immigrated from Glasgow, Scotland in the Centennial year of 1967. Rhona was lifelong friends with Heidi’s parents Paul and Carolynn Parsons. Heidi’s family became her chosen family. Her 2nd immigration was from Mississauga to Almonte in 2015 in order to be close to them. Rhona was a career accountant with Tip Top Tailor’s in Toronto. After her retirement she enjoyed the fruits of her labour. She was considered a bonus grandmother to Isabel, Mason, MacPherson, Finley, Euan and Rhys. Rhona was always made to feel at home in Almonte and was grateful for her friends and especially Joy, Bonnie and Jason. Donations in memory of Rhona may be made to the Carleton Place Canoe Club or the North Lanark Highland Games.
