Two drivers were seriously injured in a head on collision this morning on March Road near Corkery Road . A pickup truck drove into a ditch hitting a hydro pole. The impact caused a transformer to fall into the bed of the truck. When firefighterrs arrived, the truck was engulfed in flames. The crash was discovered by a firefighter en route to the station. Both drivers escaped their vehicles but were taken to hospital in serious condition. A 38 year old male driver broke an ankle and suffered possible spinal cord injuries. The female driver of the other vehicle suffered a possible broken collarbone and spinal cord injuries.
