The mayor called a special meeting of the Committee of the Whole for Thursday, September 18 at 6 pm to once again discuss potential changes to the rural severance policy. The agenda is available at http://www.mississippimills.ca/uploads/12/Doc_635461333046475808.pdf
It contains all past reports from the planning department on this subject plus results from the survey distributed at the related public meeting in June.
There will be pressure on Council to “do something” before the election. For those interested in the subject, come and watch. This is not a public meeting—therefore visitors do not get a chance to speak unless the chair permits such.
