The Almonte Tea Dances are back

Sunday afternoon tea dances organized by the Standing Room Only Big Band (SRO) are back in full swing after a summer break at the beautiful Almonte Old Town Hall. Join us on September 29th, 2024.

Due to a planned power outage, the September 29th dance will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, half an hour later than the usual 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. The dance will be held in the upper hall at 14 Bridge St, Almonte. Doors open at 1:30 pm. Admission is $16 per person at the door or $30 per couple. Reservations are not required. Light refreshments will be available at reasonable prices, including delicious treats and a range of beverages (non-alcoholic – it’s a tea dance after all!). Please remember this is a cash only event.

For more information, visit SRO’s website at srobigband.ca or visit SRO’s Facebook page at facebook.com/srobigband.  To receive notifications of upcoming tea dances and other public performances, you can ‘like’ SRO’s Facebook page in your Facebook News Feed and/or you can be added to SRO’s email distribution list by sending an email to srobigband@bell.net.
