Union Hall’s famous pancake breakfast, Sunday, March 29

Each spring, people look forward to Union Hall’s Pancake Breakfast, a major fundraiser for Union Hall, a community hub since 1857.  This year, the event is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, from 8 a.m. until noon.  Bring the whole family and enjoy a delicious meal while re-connecting with your friends and neighbours in the cozy atmosphere of this community gathering place.

Volunteers will be dishing out generous portions of pancakes, sausages from Beckwith Butcher, baked beans and blueberries, with Fortune Farms maple syrup, accompanied by fruit juice, tea and Equator coffee. A gluten-free option is available. Prices for large and regular portions are $18 and $16 respectively. Children five and under eat for free.

Reserved timeslots ensure a manageable flow of visitors and assures patrons that there will be room for their whole party at the time of their choosing.  Thanks to years of experience and a group of hard-working volunteers, service is fast and efficient.  Book your tickets now, at Tickets Please (www.ticketsplease.ca).  Last-minute decision? Just show up, and chances are there will be room for you within a few minutes.

The Union Hall Community Centre, a Registered Charity, is situated at 1984 Wolf Grove Road at the corner of Tatlock Road, an 8 km drive west of Almonte.

We are grateful for ongoing financial support from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills and The Hub.
