Yoga for Older Adults, starts in April

Centre For Creative Living

Would you like to maintain and/or regain flexibility and balance but find the idea of practicing yoga a bit intimidating?

Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating twelve-week yoga series specifically designed for older adults. Deborah Vigier, our instructor, has practiced yoga all her life and has a teaching certificate from Beyond Yoga in Kanata. She also has a teaching certificate in adult education from the University of Montreal. Deborah likes to call her program “every body yoga.” She is very aware of the impact aging can have on the body.

Deborah will focus on the capacity and needs of each person. These series will provide great opportunities to unwind, stretch, and focus on your well-being in a welcoming, beautiful setting at the historic St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Clyde Street. No prior yoga experience is necessary.  All levels are welcome!

There are three sets of classes beginning the first week of April:

Chair Yoga:  Wednesdays, 9:30 to 10:30.   Register here:

Regular Yoga:  Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. to noon.  Register here

Regular Yoga:  Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Register here

The fee for one series of twelve is $150.  Subsidies are available.  Please email cfclstpauls@gmail.com for more information.
