The Almonte Lions Club Duck Race is back again this year on the Mississippi River at the Almonte Old Town Hall! Together with the Mississippi Mills Fire Department in Almonte and Pakenham, we invite everyone to come on down to the Almonte Old Town Hall on Saturday, Sept. 19th to cheer on your duck. We will be dropping the ducks off the Queen St. Bridge, next to the Old Town Hall (14 Bridge St, Almonte, ON K0A 1A0). Duck drop is at 12:30 pm so be sure to get there early!
For just $10.00 a ticket you might take home First Prize of $1,000.00! Prizes also for $600.00 2nd place, $350.00 3rd place plus a $50.00 Lame Duck Prize for last place! Tickets are on sale now and selling fast. Last year SOLD OUT again, so don’t wait!
All proceeds go to help those in need in our community.
You can easily get your tickets by sending us an eTransfer to AlmonteLionsClub@gmail.com.
Please make sure you add your name, email address, phone number and number of tickets you want into the message portion when completing your eTransfer. This is important so we are able to match your tickets with your payment. We will email you pictures of your tickets with your duck number once payment is confirmed.
If you prefer, you can just email us at AlmonteLionsClub@gmail.com, message us on Facebook for your tickets and we’ll make sure we get them to you. You can also buy tickets directly through any Almonte Lions Club member or Mississippi Mills Fire Department member.
