It’s that time of year again, and folks are getting ready for Union Hall’s annual community potluck dinner. We hope to see you all on Saturday, November 22. We chose our date to provide a little break, between fall chores and Christmas preparations.
Everyone is welcome – young and old, old-timers and newcomers to the community! Please bring a main course, salad or dessert. To keep this a “green event”, please also bring your own plate and cutlery.
We’ll start at 6:00 p.m. with some friendly introductions, then the feast begins. You are sure to have a good time getting to know your neighbours and enjoying the charm of our little Hall.
Union Hall, a Registered Charity which has been serving the community since 1857, is situated at 1984 Wolf Grove Road (corner of Tatlock Road). The hall is maintained through the efforts of volunteers, and earns revenue through hall and sign rentals, with financial support from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills, the Hub and individual donors. Several local businesses have partnered with us, offering discounts and donations. We now have high-speed Internet, thanks to Storm Internet Services.
