Indoor pickleball facility coming to Almonte

Mississippi Mills and the surrounding area will soon have its very own exclusive indoor pickleball club! Located on Frank Davis St. in Almonte’s industrial park, it is scheduled to open its doors in January 2026. Pickleball’s popularity has soared in recent years and shows no signs of slowing down. With the boom in popularity, the municipalities have struggled to meet the demand for court time in local community centres and schools. Westside Pickleball Club will provide the community with dedicated indoor courts and a welcoming space to socialize and play.

This indoor facility will have four specialized pickleball courts, a comfortable lounge area and ample parking. Local residents will finally have a dedicated space for pickleball in an enjoyable environment all year round. Westside’s owner and founder, Sara West, grew up in Almonte and Carleton Place in the 1980s and is proud to be bringing something positive back to the community. “Pickleball is a sport that brings people together, in part because of its accessibility to all ages and skill levels. Everyone can compete and the positive impacts are endless. Not to mention, it’s incredibly fun.”

Westside’s official grand opening date will be announced in early January 2026 and in the meantime, select memberships are available via the website – www.westsidecourts.com
