I will be participating in the 2026 Parkinson Canada Superwalk on Saturday September 12th at Orchard View Gardens in Almonte. I will be walking in memory of my wife Araina and the many years in which she participated in the walk, raising in excess of $20 thousand for Parkinson Canada. The event begins at 10am on the duck pond patio and we will be led by piper Jason Cain from the Almonte Legion Pipe Band. Following the walk there will be refreshments and entertainment in the Bistro with music by Terry Marcotte. Orchard View will be running a Duck Race in support of the event and you will have a chance to purchase a duck prior to race day with the proceeds being split between the winner and the Parkinson SuperWalk. All are welcome to attend and participate in the walk if they wish or just enjoy the refreshments and music afterwards.
