Which is why we have started an initiative to develop a powerful, yet simple organization to boost the funding of local charitable organizations, so that the groups who serve our neighbours, families and friends in Lanark County can focus less on raising cash and more on achieving their mission.
100 Men Who Care, Lanark County is a grassroots philanthropic group committed to making a difference in Lanark County. Our mission is to empower local charities through collective giving, ensuring every dollar stays within our community and creates significant positive change.
Our initiative is not an untested, novel or harebrained idea! It is time- and locality-tested all across the continent. And know what, guys? The ladies have beaten us to the punch in Lanark County with their club!
We are gathering 100 men (or more) who can get behind some worthy Lanark County charitable organizations. It is pure-hearted generosity and a simple way of raising much-needed donations for local community organizations without breaking the bank: commit just $100 and, through the power of numbers, your $100 generates $10,000 to light up the faces of the people who help the people in our neighbourhoods. That’s 100 men donating $100 each! And you are only asked to commit to 4 such tax-receipted donations in a year. Nominate and vote for a charity that you support at 4 one-hour meetings each year. That’s it …that’s all! And you also get to meet some incredible men who may become lifelong buddies!
