The Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is a celebration of survival and also a time of remembrance of those who have lost their lives to this disease. The Town of Mississippi Mills held its inaugural Relay for Life held on Friday, June 8, at Gemmill Park in Almonte. Close to 200 people participated and the event raised $117,000 by the end of the event. The final total is still being tabulated.
