In the past two weeks, we have had lower than normal voltage in Almonte. This is due to the load created from the extreme hot weather, as well as a change in our supply from Hydro One.
A line upgrade is taking place on Christian Street (County Road 29), from Country Street to Almonte. In order to perform this upgrade safely, the normal supply was switched which resulted in poorer voltage levels. This work will be completed shortly and, at that time, normal supply will be restored. There will also be a short outage required to restore the system to its normal condition when the work is completed.
