Mark Cochrane is a certified Sommelier and wine enthusiast who also covers the craft beer and whiskey industry. Mark received his Sommelier diploma from Algonquin College in 2012 and currently authors the wine blog markuncorked.com. He also finds time to write wine reviews for Natalie MacLean (nataliemaclean.com) and occasionally helps with the fall harvest at Bergeron Estate winery in Prince Edward County. A resident of Mississippi Mills for the last 2 years, Mark and his wife Cindy have settled into the relaxed atmosphere of Almonte.
Mark was born in Toronto but raised in the Ottawa area. His 37 year career in telecommunications has spanned Bell Canada, BNR, Nortel and Alcatel-Lucent.
