wind turbineThe provincial Green Energy Act passed in 2009 has disenfranchised rural Ontarians, taking away their voices and power to question “green energy” projects.  Dalton McGuinty acknowledged that the act was passed with the goal of preventing NIMBY (Not in my back yard) objections to ‘green’ projects (which include wind, hydro and solar power generation); however, this anti Nimby legislation is affecting all of rural Ontario.
