31 year old Gary Sadler of Ottawa has been charged with aggravated assault with a weapon. His hearing will take place on August 29 at the Perth Court. The charge arose after a man was assaulted with a beer bottle in the early morning hours of July 16 at an Almonte home. A 28 year old Mississippi Mlls man was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious but non life trheatening injuries. The suspect was located shortly thereafter outside Almonte and was arrested without incident.
