Local resident Andrew Tiffany installed all the Olympic pool liners in Rio.  In order to give Canadian athletes a little taste of home, he left a tooney beneath the liner of the competition pool. Andrew’s company, Sustainable Aquatic Systems, specializes in the finishing work of competition pools, including pool lining, structures, filtration and plumbing. Andrew and a team of 6 Almonte men have been in Rio since October 2015, installing pool liners and they finished the job on time. Andrew is now back in Almonte, relaxing after a job well done. See the CBC feature on Andrew here.
