Calvin Blair

(Longtime Employee of the City of Ottawa)

Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on December 11, 2024.

Calvin

of Almonte, Ontario, at the age of 88.

Beloved husband for 60 years to the late Jean (Daneliak) whom was the light of his life.  Cherished father to Michael (Christine), Joyce Roche (Richard), Kimberly Ann Bernique (Donald), and Tammy Reid (Thomas).  Son to the late Walter and Mable (Nitschkie) Bourne.  Treasured brother of Eileen Hannay (the late Bruce), Winston (Jackie), Gordie (Bibiane), and Russell (Sue).   Predeceased by brothers Jimmy (Bev), Melvin “Mickey” and infant sister Joyce.  Proud “Grandpa” to 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Remembered by his loving friends and family from the Farm.  He will be sadly missed by his best friend Bubbles.

A special thank-you to the caregivers from Bayshore, the staff from Alzheimer Society of Lanark County, as well as Dr. Fortune.
