A Subaru was engulfed in flames about 10 a.m. this morning on March Road north of Bearhill Road.
According to the CBC, the driver and a passenger noticed smoke coming from the vehicle’s dashboard and were able to safely exit before it erupted in flames. Ottawa Fire Services had the blaze under control within about 20 minutes of the 911 call. No one was injured.
Bearhill Road is about 12 km north of Almonte.
