Carleton-Mississippi Mills MPP Jack MacLaren has been turfed from the Tory caucus and will not be a Conservative candidate in the next provincial election.
Patrick Brown, leader of the Ontario Tories, made the announcement today as he declared that he has come to the conclusion that Mr. MacLaren does not share the inclusive values of that party.
The final straw came with the surfacing of a 2012 video posted by CFRA Radio in Ottawa of our MPP disparaging bilingualism in East Ontario.
This is the fourth in a string of incidents involving Mr. MacLaren that has embarrassed his party.
