Cheryl Baxter is a nature enthusiast who enjoys photographing the beauty around her. She takes a particular interest in our feathered friends — birds of all shapes and sizes. It’s become a passion of hers and she tries to capture moments that you might not normally get to witness in everyday life.
Cheryl and her husband of 24 years moved to the Cedar Hill area near Pakenham in 1999. Her interest in photography lay dormant during the early years of raising her five children, three of whom are in post-secondary studies and the youngest two in high school.
She is currently finding a lot of freedom in her passion for photographing the feathered wilds of Mississippi Mills.
Cheryl has a new bird photography column here in the Millstone, “For the Birds”. Her photos can also be found at her art site and blog.
