Today, Christmas Eve, we bring you an even more unlikely winter scenario — a group of paddlers on the Mississippi River, which in other years might well be covered in several inches of ice by now.
Organized by Susan Cressey and setting out from the fairgrounds under sunny, 16-degree skies, the trip was a way of “celebrating this crazy weather!”
