ConnectWell seeks contract Finance Assistant

ConnectWell Community Health is seeking a Finance Assistant, for a 6-month contract.  This position consists of 35 hrs/week and will include the option to participate in HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan).

Position Summary:

This position will include a variety of finance related duties supporting the financial operations for our organization.  The position will support the documentation of processes within our Finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, or related field or a combination of related education and experience.
  • Working experience in the finance field, 1 year.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems, budgets, and internal controls.
  • Computer experience with a range of software including Microsoft applications.
  • Experience with BC (Business Central) and Blackline, an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication.

Reporting Relationship: The successful candidate will report to our Manager, Finance and Accounting.
