Passed away on July 8, 2026 at the Ottawa General Hospital.

Of Clayton, Ontario and originally from
Maxville, Ontario at the age of 77.
Survived by sister Marjorie. 3 sons, 4 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gralton and Marjorie Macpherson and brother Gordon. Also missed by many friends.
Proud of being a businessman delivering meat in Maxville on a bicycle at 13 to becoming a butcher and meat inspector for a large grocery chain. Don went from building go carts in his preteens to restoring cars in retirement and working on lawnmowers and snowblowers as well.
A special thanks to the Dr’s and nurses from the 6th Floor of the Ottawa General Hospital for their care and support.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Don’s Life at the Almonte Civitan Hall on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 4pm to 6pm. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
