Editor’s Note: We received this letter today from the family of the couple killed in a crash on the March Road recently.
Yesterday, my husband and I attended the funeral of my beautiful sister Joan and her husband Doug. They were pillars in their community in Renfrew and for our family. I was blessed to have a big sister who loved her family, but today I am flooded by memories of the times we shared together. Neil and I not only lost two family members but dear friends, who travelled to Alaska, the Oregon Coast, Vancouver Island, Florida and kayaking on the Madawaska to name a few… and all those hair styles and quiet visits in between.
If you have any information that would assist the police in their investigation plse come forward and share. It would ease our pain and help our grieving families understand this tragedy. I know Joan and Doug are citizens of heaven today!
