Heritage Conservation District Study and Plan Survey

Mississippi Mills logo

On Thursday, March 20, 2014, a successful first Public meeting on the proposed downtown Almonte and area Heritage Conservation District Study and Plan was held in the Auditorium of the Almonte Old Town Hall.

In order for Council to determine whether to proceed with the next phase of the Study, they need to gauge the public’s input.  You are encouraged to complete the Town’s survey to provide your input.  The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 4, 2014.  Information on the Heritage Study including the proposed boundaries in Almonte and answers to questions about the implications of a heritage designation as well as the HDC presentation can be accessed through the links below. They are pdf documents.

Public input and participation is very important to the success of an HCD study. We invite you to participate in our survey (link below) by Friday, April 4, 2014 to help determine if the study phase will proceed.
