I am frequently bothered by the sight of so much trash on March road, so today (Wednesday) I decided to do something about it. I drove out to the edge of the alvar (Burntlands) and started picking up trash. After only 200 yards, the trunk of my car was full, but that short piece was cleaner. Unfortunately, I had to leave a small pile of larger stuff by the side of the road. Perhaps someone with a small truck could pick it up.
I’ll be back to continue the job – perhaps not every day.
