Patients from Lanark County hospitals and clients of the United Way were the winners Friday, August 10, when Lanark County Warden John Gemmell hosted the annual Warden’s golf tournament at the Perth Golf Course.
County of Lanark staff plus volunteers from the County’s three Hospitals and United Way assisted Warden Gemmell in organizing a great day for participants.
The Almonte General Hospital and the Almonte General Hospital/Fairview Manor (AGH/FVM) Foundation were pleased to support Warden Gemmell’s tournament and honoured to be one of the recipients of the proceeds.
The funds, once released, will go the AGH Quality Care for Life Patient Equipment Fund.
The other recipients of the proceeds are the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital, the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital and the United Way of Lanark County.
