Land Trust reopens nature trails to public

The Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust (MMLT) is pleased to announce the reopening of the nature trails at Blueberry Mountain (Lanark), High Lonesome Nature Reserve (Pakenham), Poole Family Nature Sanctuary (Carleton Place) and Rose Hill Nature Reserve (Denbigh) for limited public uses such as walking, hiking and enjoying nature.

No group activities will be allowed at these sites and all facilities such as washrooms and roofed buildings will remain closed.  To ensure the wellbeing and enjoyment of all, please respect physical distancing while visiting. Our trail clearing crews will be out too so please help us keep them safe by offering them space.

For additional information about our properties or to support the work of the MMLT please visit www.mmlt.ca
