This morning I joined Lea-Anne and Art Solomonian from the Beautification Committee in decorating Stephen Brathwaite’s restored 19th-century balcony on Mill Street, above Kentfield Kids and Doree’s Habit.
Stephen kicked in the cost of the decorations — garlands, light strings and a wreath — and finished installing the scalloped accents on the underside of the balcony while we were there. He also has spotlights ready to go at the back of the balcony, which should create a dramatic back-lit effect once they’re turned on.
As the song goes, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
