On Monday, December 1, Councillors Duncan Abbott and Alex Gillis, CAO Diane Smithson and I will train it to Toronto for an afternoon meeting with Resources Minister Bill Mauro. We will be asking for a change of water level in the river to save the Appleton wetland, and a denial of any quit claim to the river under the first waterfall.
The current Enerdu weir plans call for excavation of that scenic spillway, as shown in this diagram:
