Come help clean up your town and earn community hours!
On Saturday June 11, 2011, the Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in partnership with the Town of Carleton Place and The Town of Mississippi Mills will be conducting a community clean up event to get rid of graffiti in our communities.
Youth and adult volunteers are required to assist in this event and community volunteer hours will be authorized for students who come and help out. Drivers are also required to assist in moving around to various locations. “Operation Goodbye Graffiti”, will take place at the following times:

Carleton Place – June 11, 2011, 9:00 am – 11:00 am (meet at Carleton Place Detachment at 8:45 am for assignment)

Mississippi Mills (Almonte) – June 11, 2011, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (meet at Almonte Fire Hall at 12:45 pm for assignment)
