OPP searching for missing Mountain Grove man

The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Sharbot Lake office, is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Mountain Grove resident from Central FrontenacTownship, reported missing on June 29th, 2012.

  James Howard Gibbs, age 66 years has not been seen since 10:3 0pm, Wednesday 27 June, 2012 after dropping a friend off in Mountain Grove just west of Sharbot Lake. The Lanark County OPP is being assisted in their investigation by members of the Ontario Provincial Police Emergency Response Team (OPP ERT) and the Ontario Provincial Police Canine Unit (OPP K9).

GIBBS is described as a white male, 6”1” tall, weighing 144 pounds, slim build, blue eyes, short straight grey hair, moustache, has facial acne pock mark scarring and wears glasses to see distances. It is not known what clothing he may be wearing.

It is not known if GIBBS is travelling on foot or by motor vehicle.
