Puppets-Up spin off!

Ingrid Harris
Ingrid Harris made her puppet’s costume to match her own.

Dr. Manuel Moran, Artistic Director and CEO of Teatro SEA, New York and Richard Marino, Managing Director of Teatro SEA descended upon them in their (then) country home just outside of Almonte. This was the year the annual UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionnette) conference was held in our town during the Puppets-up Festival.

Friendships were formed and soon after Ingrid was asked to design the costumes for Teatro SEA’s new show, “The Legends of the Enchanted Treasure”. All communication went by email and Skype at that time between Almonte and New York City. In recent months, Ingrid has spent some time in The Big Apple designing costumes for a new show Manuel is writing and directing, “My Superhero, Roberto Clemente”.

“This spring I will be spending several weeks in the New York City and am very excited to help in bringing success to Teatro SEA”, says Ingrid.
