A classic orange Beer Store sign that was to be auctioned off for charity has been stolen from behind the Almonte Beer Store, according to a story in the Ottawa Citizen.

The sign was to be offered to bidders as part of the Beer Store’s annual “Returns For Leukemia Bottle Drive” fundraiser.

Store employee Shaun Wasylnuk took to Facebook asking the thieves to pay $500 for the sign, saying the money would go to leukemia research.
