Tai chi classes in Almonte, starting January 9

The Canadian Tai Chi Academy is a national, not-for-profit charitable organization (founded in 2006) dedicated to teaching the 108 Tai Chi Sets for health as passed on to us by the late Master Moy Lin-Shin (1931-1998). The Academy is 100% operated by volunteer instructors and officers. Our website is canadiantaichiacademy.org.

We are starting up Beginner and Continuing (Ongoing) Tai Chi Classes in Almonte starting Thursday, January 9th. Classes will be held at the John Levi Community Centre, Upper Hall, 182 Bridge St.

Participants registered in the Beginner Class will be introduced to the 108 moves of the Tai Chi set. Classes will be held every Thursday evening from 7-8:30 pm, starting January 9th. Total cost for the Beginner Class is $60 for the four months it will take to learn the set.

The Continuing (Ongoing) Tai Chi Class is for those who have already been introduced to the Set. Classes will also be held every Thursday evening from 7-8:30 pm, starting January 9th. Cost for the class is $20/month and provides membership to the Canadian Tai Chi Academy. Members have access to all in-person and virtual classes given by the Academy in other locations such as Smith Falls, Arnprior, Carleton Place and Perth.
