Dear Editor,
A huge thank you to all those students, organizations and individual Mississippi Millions who took the time to pitch-in and pick up litter from the streets and roadsides during the past few weeks. The area looks much tidier. But just when you think the job is done, I’ve got another request.
We are expecting judges from the Community in Blooms program to check out our fair community later in June. So, when you’re out for a walk, consider taking a bag along – just in case someone has absentmindedly dropped their chip bag or water bottle.
