On November 16 the Ottawa Citizen published a profile of Almonte’s Gord Pike.
Mr. Pike, a local entrepreneur, has had a varied and very successful career, as owner of a Canadian Tire franchise, then a property developer and real estate owner and developer of a mall on the edge of Almonte.
After he sold his mall in his mid fifties, Mr. Pike returned to school to gain expertise as a financial planner. He earned certification from Algonquin College and followed it up with a Canadian Securities diploma.
Most recently he has developed the Heritage Mall, which has revitalized Mill Street and he is the owner and operator of The Mill Street Crepe Company, a popular restaurant in the mall.
