Tuesday May 21 has two big issues on the agendas at Town Hall.
Council (starts at 6 PM and goes to 7 or a bit later) has a motion co-written by Alex Gillis and me (with editorial input from Councillors Wilkinson, Abbott, Watters and Cameron) that aims to get Council to make a political statement about Enerdu. In it the Town asks that the Province not approve the project unless five key issues are satisfactorily resolved. The agenda with the full wording of the motion is here (PDF file, page 33.)
The Committee of the Whole (starts after Council) includes one public meeting that will likely fill the room with upset folks from Cedar Hill and elsewhere in MM. For details, see the Millstone:
