On December 5, the Millstone told our readers about the Santa Claus clause in the condo documents at the Victoria Woollen Mill that allows Santa and his sleigh and reindeer to land on the roof during the months of November and December each year. As the Mill is the tallest building in town, this right not only allows Santa to appear at Light Up the Night and to take a breather from his long flight, it permits him to survey the town to find the homes of good children. CBC's Julie Ireton picked up this story from the Millstone and it has been broadcast on CBC radio yesterday and today, Christmas Eve.You may read the on-line version at http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/story/2011/12/24/ottawa-ontario-almonte-santa-clause.html
