The Committee of the Whole (CoW) will debate the new by-law to restrict major construction and demolition in Almonte’s proposed heritage district for up to one year. One councillor has already suggested to delay it.
Best guess at the timing:
Council Meeting, about 6:00- Agenda includes
- A motion that calls on Council to formally withdraw any implied support for the Enerdu generating station expansion
- A motion from Duncan Abbott to examine the high river level.
