Do you know a young person between the ages of 12-18 years old from Mississippi Mills that deserves to be recognized for that successful fundraiser they organized, or for speaking out about bullying? Help TYPS Almonte’s Youth Centre recognize youth in the community for exemplary character, community service, creativity, or achievement.
Nominated youth will be publicly awarded at TYPS Almonte’s Youth Centre’s “Night of Stars” on December 10th from 7-9pm. The entire community is invited to celebrate local youth, enjoy music performed by local youth, and enjoy some tasty treats.
If you would like to nominate a young person you know, call TYPS at 613-256-8485 or email Rachel@typsyouthcentre.org. Nominations must include your name and contact information, the nominee’s name, age, phone number and the reason why this individual deserves to be celebrated.
The deadline for nominations is December 2nd at 5pm.
