Winter has arrived in full force, and if the season is feeling a little long already, consider this your perfect midwinter reset. Our next concert offers a welcome change of pace, stepping away from evening performances and inviting you out for a winter afternoon of exceptional music.
On Sunday, January 25th at 2:00 PM, the stage of the Almonte Old Town Hall will welcome JUNO Award winning cellist Elinor Frey and her extraordinary collection of cellos for the opening concert of 2026, All the Mornings with Elinor. Performing alone on stage, Elinor brings each instrument’s unique voice, colour, and story to life.
Inspired by the film Tous les matins du monde, this intimate and richly rewarding recital features works by Bach, Dall’Abbaco, Telemann, and Tartini, alongside Les Pleurs by Sainte Colombe from the film itself. It is a rare opportunity to hear these works up close in a setting that suits them perfectly.
