Henry Hallas — obituary

Hallas, Henry George Bouchier

April 19, 1934 –  April 3, 2026

Passed away at Extendicare Stoneridge Manor Long Term Care in Carleton Place, Ontario.

Born in Toronto Ontario to the late Audrey Hallas and George Hallas.  Survived by brother Fred Hallas and predeceased by his sister Barbara Sherman.  Married for 67 years to his wife Anita Hallas.

Henry attended RMC, served in the Navy and then worked for External Affairs.  Retired and went to serve in the mission field, India, from 1987 to 2019.

He is survived by 6 children: Lianna Richmond, Vicki Hallas, Hugh Hallas, Kerri Crousset, Kirby Hallas, and Kory Hallas.  Proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren: Gillian Richmond Pitarys, Alexandra Munro, Kit Richmond, Rebecca Montsion, Andrew Cross, Kate Hallas, Hayden Hallas, Mackenzie Sturdivant, Eric Hallas, Jermey Doran, Emily Doran, Stephane Crousset, Gabriella Crousset, Danielle Crouset, Ashley Steven, Chance Hallas, Chloe Hallas, Greyson Hallas, and 15 great-grandchildren: Nixon Munro, Slone Munro, Sawyer Munro, Theo Richmond, Aren Richmond, Charlotte Pitarys, Archer Pitarys, Amelia Sturdivant, Carter Sturdivant, Lochlan McGee, Cillian McGee, Leo Steven, Edward Steven, Nora Hallas, Kyrie Hallas.
