In Loving Memory of Diane Whiting
Diane passed away peacefully July 26, yielding to 6 years of Parkinson’s Disease. She is survived by her beloved husband Bill, and their children Jeffrey (Yasaman) and Kenneth (Nicole), and grandchildren Amanda, Anthony and Chelsea.
Diane spent the last 55 years as a loving, full time homemaker, participated in the launch of her two sons’ business enterprises and supported their many competitive activities at school and beyond. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who took great pride in the successes of her sons and grandchildren, and will be remembered as warm, gentle, generous, thoughtful to all who knew her. She was an avid gardener involved in the transformation of an historic 200 year old log home and the surrounding gardens and acreage in Lanark County, affectionately known to family as “The Farm”.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff and associates at the Orchard View Gardens retirement home who provided exceptional and empathetic care over the last several months.
A small family gathering for a celebration of her life is planned for the near future.
If you wish to make a donation in Diane’s memory, she would welcome a contribution to Parkinson Canada.
