I, an ancient and now temporarily incapacitated member of the town since 1967 would like to congratulate our new mayor on both his intentions,and his inaugural address expressing such intentions so clearly. What a change without too much open criticism! Maybe Pakenham is as wonderful as its own inhabitants would have us, the remaining citizens of the world, believe. As the husband of one of the recently closed Stonebridge Heirlooms, I have happy memories of selling antiques ‘up the hill’ on Pugh’s property.
