Applications are now open for the Young Awards Foundation new Young Artist Awards. Grade 11 or 12 students who live and/or go to school in Mississippi Mills are eligible to apply for the $100 awards.
The Young Awards Foundation will fund up to 14 Young Artist Awards this year. Students apply online, in one or more of visual art, drama, dance, writing and music.
Applications include 1-3 letter(s) of reference (that can be from anyone), an online presentation (any format, creativity encouraged—write a paragraph, make a slideshow, paint a picture…) and an online portfolio (documents and/or links that show the art you do).
