This pair of bald eagles visited the Almonte area last week and were seen by several local residents along the west shore of the Mississippi River between Green Acres and the Fairgrounds. On Friday morning, October 30th, I captured this photo of their short-term perch across the river from the intersection of Spring Street and Robert Hill Street.
