Almonte’s Sports Systems Canada Inc. founded by Almonte residents Matt and Dennis Mould made a splash in the Ottawa Citizen recently. This successful company started as a summer project to make basketball hoops and now supplies from its Almonte industrial plant a large variety of sports equipment, including stadium seating, to institutional buyers in Canada and around the world. It has revenue ranges of $5-10 million annually.
