Drugs and weapons bust in Lanark Highlands

OPP-Small(Lanark Highlands, Ontario) – On Monday February 22, 2016, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by members of OPP Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) Search Warrant  and a Criminal Code Search Warrant which led to the arrest of two people.

During the investigation the following items were seized:

  • over 8 pounds of cannabis marihuana
  • Small amount of cannabis resin, both hash and oil.
  • 1 loaded .22 caliber rifle
  • Digital scales

Evidence of cannabis resin extraction was located at scene.

The following charges were laid against Marc LYNCH (54) of Lanark Highlands (ON):

  • Possession for the Purpose Schedule II Substance under 3 kgs-Cannabis Marihuana
  • Production of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Resin
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Recognizance of Bail x 4
  • Theft of electricity

He was held and released on condition in the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth.

The following charges were laid against Antryg REVOK (49) of Lanark Highlands (ON):

  • Possession for the Purpose Schedule II Substance under 3 kgs-Cannabis Marihuana
  • Production of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Resin
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

REVOK was released from custody on a Promise to Appear and an Officer in Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on April 18th, 2016.
